1. Overview
At Initial G, we strive to ensure that our users have a positive experience with our sim-racing platform and services. This Refund Policy is designed to provide clarity on the eligibility and procedures for refund requests. We recommend reviewing our Terms of Service for a full understanding of your rights and responsibilities when using our services.
2. Subscription Refunds
All subscription purchases on Initial G are non-refundable once payment has been processed. By purchasing a subscription, you agree that it is your responsibility to manage your subscription status and cancel before the end of your billing cycle if you do not wish to renew.
- Cancellation Deadline: To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription through your account settings before the current subscription period ends. If you fail to cancel before the renewal date, the charge is considered final, and no refunds will be issued for that period.
- Grace Period for Failed Payments: If a subscription renewal payment fails, users have a 24-hour grace period to resolve payment issues. After this time, a second payment attempt will be made. Failure to resolve payment issues within this time frame may result in account suspension until the balance is settled.
- Bundled Subscriptions: If you purchase a car mod or digital product that includes a free trial period of a subscription, it is your responsibility to cancel the subscription before the trial period ends if you do not wish to continue. Failure to cancel will result in automatic billing, and no refunds will be provided.
3. Refunds for Digital Products
Refunds for digital products such as car mods, downloadable content, or other virtual items are generally not provided once the product has been accessed or downloaded. Digital content is considered delivered at the time of download, and the transaction is final.
- Eligibility for Refund: A refund for digital products may be granted only if the product has not been downloaded or accessed and the request is made within 14 days of the purchase date.
- Non-Eligibility: Refunds will not be provided for products that have already been downloaded or for dissatisfaction with digital content quality unless there is a defect that prevents the product from functioning as described.
4. Chargebacks and Disputed Transactions
If you believe that an unauthorized transaction has occurred, please contact our support team immediately at hello@initialg.gg. We encourage users to resolve any payment issues directly with us before initiating a chargeback with their bank or payment provider.
- Resolution Process: Users must provide proof of the disputed transaction and details of the issue. We will investigate and attempt to resolve the matter within 10 business days.
- Account Suspension: If a chargeback is initiated without first contacting our support team, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the user’s access to the services provided by Initial G until the matter is resolved.
5. Payment Processing
All payments for subscriptions and digital products are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Users are responsible for ensuring that their payment details are accurate and up to date to prevent failed payments or delays in processing.
